At the Gulfood Manufacturing Show here in the World Trade Center Dubai, Ford Motor Company was honored with Industry Excellence Award for its Transit Custom Refrigerated Solutions in the supply chain commercial vehicles category.

A highly customized transit chiller van introduced by ford which has already outsold it non-refrigerated version in the European market. Its optimised body offers class-leading load space up to 8.3 cubic-metres, wide side-load doors and rear doors that can open up to 180 degrees for easy loading access.

Transit Custom can also claim class-leading fuel efficiency which, combined with the 80-litre fuel tank, delivers a range of up to 1,100 klm between refuels. Less time spent refuelling increases productivity, giving back an estimated 15 hours a year.
