Frozen loads are unforgiving. A chilled load that drifts two degrees is usually still saleable; a frozen load that softens and refreezes is a texture problem, a quality complaint and — for ice cream — a total write-off.

Why deep freeze is a different service
Pulling a box down to -18°C and holding it there in 45°C ambient heat is a genuinely harder engineering problem than holding +4°C. It needs more insulation, a stronger unit, and a driver who treats the door like it matters. Our freezer vans are specified for the job rather than being chiller vans turned down.
Pre-cooling is not optional here
With frozen goods, loading into a warm box is the single most damaging thing you can do — the surface of the product thaws in minutes and refreezes later as ice crystals. Every freezer van we send is pulled down to your target temperature before it reaches your bay. Not on the way. Before.
Temperature proof for your records
If you supply supermarkets or export frozen product, you'll be asked to prove the chain held. We monitor temperature through the run and provide delivery reporting on request, so you have something to hand your auditor rather than an assurance.
