Refrigerated Transport in JAFZA & Jebel Ali

Where Dubai's frozen imports land — and where a warm vehicle at the gate ruins a container's worth of stock.

Jebel Ali and JAFZA are the front door for a very large share of the UAE's imported frozen and chilled food. Containers land, product moves to cold store, and then it has to get to the rest of the country without ever going soft.

This is heavy-duty reefer work. Our 7.5-tonne trucks run to -29°C and handle bulk collections out of the free zone daily.

Import collections have no margin for a warm box

A container of frozen product represents serious money, and the moment it's most at risk is the transfer out of a cold store into a vehicle. If that vehicle isn't already at temperature, the surface of every carton begins to thaw immediately.

Our trucks are pre-cooled to your target before they reach the gate. Not cooling on the way. Cold on arrival.

Volume means the big unit

Free zone collections are usually pallet-scale, which is why most JAFZA work goes on the 7.5-tonne heavy-duty reefer at AED 900/day. Splitting it across smaller vehicles means more drivers, more gate passes and more chances for something to sit warm.

Onward distribution across the UAE

A lot of what lands at Jebel Ali doesn't stay in Dubai. We quote intercity reefer trips per journey — Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Al Ain — so you know the number before the wheels turn.

Free zone access and paperwork

Free zone entry runs on documentation and gate procedure, and a driver who doesn't know the process costs you an afternoon. Ours run this daily. Tell us the facility and the collection reference and we'll handle the rest.

Questions

JAFZA & Jebel Ali — frequently asked

Do you collect frozen imports from JAFZA cold stores?

Yes, this is core work for our heavy-duty fleet. Our 7.5-tonne reefers run to -29°C and are pre-cooled before they reach the gate, so product transfers cold-to-cold.

Can you run from Jebel Ali to Abu Dhabi or other emirates?

Yes. Intercity reefer trips are quoted per journey rather than squeezed into a day rate. Give us the pickup, the drop and the temperature and we'll price the run.

Which truck size is right for free zone collections?

Usually the 7.5-tonne heavy-duty reefer at AED 900/day, because free zone loads tend to be pallet-scale. Below about four tonnes, the 3.5-tonne chiller truck may be cheaper — tell us the volume and we'll advise.

Do your drivers know free zone gate procedures?

Yes, our drivers work JAFZA and Jebel Ali routinely. Give us the facility details and collection reference and the gate process is handled without you needing to manage it.

Need a chiller van in JAFZA & Jebel Ali?

Call and tell us the route and temperature — we'll confirm availability and a fixed rate on the spot.
