Refrigerated Transport to Abu Dhabi

A four-hour round trip in summer heat is where a refrigeration unit earns its money — or doesn't.

Dubai to Abu Dhabi is the UAE's busiest intercity freight run, and for refrigerated cargo it's a genuine test. Ninety minutes each way in ambient heat that can pass 45°C, with the load sitting in the box the entire time.

This is where an underspecified unit fails quietly and you find out at the delivery door. Our heavy-duty reefers are built for the distance.

Distance changes the equipment question

On a city route, a marginal refrigeration unit gets away with it — the trip is short and the door opens often enough to mask a weak pull-down. On a ninety-minute highway run in August, it doesn't. The unit either holds or it doesn't.

We run Thermo King class equipment on the intercity fleet, rated to -29°C, because this is exactly the route that exposes the difference.

Quoted per trip, not squeezed into a day rate

Intercity work is priced per journey. You tell us the pickup, the drop and the temperature; we give you a number before the truck moves. No day-rate arithmetic that quietly doesn't cover the return leg.

Mussafah, KIZAD and the industrial belt

Most of our Abu Dhabi freight goes to or from the industrial areas rather than the city itself — Mussafah, ICAD and KIZAD are regular destinations for bulk chilled and frozen loads.

Al Ain and the Western Region

We run to Al Ain and further west on request. Longer runs need a little notice so we can assign the right vehicle and driver, but they're quoted the same way: one number, agreed up front.

Questions

Abu Dhabi — frequently asked

Do you run refrigerated trucks from Dubai to Abu Dhabi?

Yes, it's one of our regular intercity routes. Trips are quoted per journey rather than on a day rate — give us the pickup, drop and temperature and we'll price it.

How much does a refrigerated truck to Abu Dhabi cost?

Intercity runs are quoted per trip because the number depends on vehicle size, temperature and whether there's a return load. Call 055 884 4722 with the details for a fixed figure.

Can you hold -18°C on the drive to Abu Dhabi in summer?

Yes. Our heavy-duty reefers run Thermo King class units rated to -29°C, specified for exactly this kind of long, hot run. The truck is also pre-cooled before loading.

Do you deliver to Mussafah and KIZAD?

Yes — Mussafah, ICAD and KIZAD are our most common Abu Dhabi destinations for bulk chilled and frozen freight. Al Ain and the Western Region are available on request.

Need a chiller van in Abu Dhabi?

Call and tell us the route and temperature — we'll confirm availability and a fixed rate on the spot.
