Rates & Quotes

We quote every job rather than publishing a price list — because a number printed today is wrong by next month. Here's exactly how it works.

Why we quote

An honest answer about pricing

Market rates in this trade genuinely move — fuel shifts, demand swings with the season, and a figure that's fair for a short Deira circuit is misleading for a run to Abu Dhabi.

Publishing a rate that's wrong within a month isn't transparency. It's a number you'd have to argue about later.

So we quote your actual job instead. Tell us five things and we'll give you a figure on the phone — usually before the call ends:

  • What you're moving and roughly how much of it
  • What temperature it needs to hold
  • Your route — pickup and drops
  • How many hours a day you need the vehicle
  • How long — one day, a week, or a standing contract

Once quoted and accepted, that rate is fixed. It doesn't move afterwards.

What's included

And what isn't

This part doesn't fluctuate. Whatever the rate turns out to be, this is what sits inside it.

Included in every quote

  • The vehicle and its refrigeration unit
  • An experienced, cold-chain trained driver
  • Nine working hours, Sat–Thu
  • All maintenance and servicing
  • Vehicle insurance
  • Pre-cooling before every collection
  • Temperature monitoring

Billed separately, at cost

  • Fuel — every receipt kept
  • Salik (road tolls) — at face value
  • Extended hours beyond nine
  • Friday running, if you need it
  • Intercity trips — quoted per journey

No markup on any of these. They're passed through exactly as we pay them.

Rental terms

Daily, weekly or monthly?

The term you choose affects the rate more than almost anything else.

Daily hire

Quoted per day
Maximum flexibility
  • No commitment
  • Good for one-off jobs
  • Subject to availability
  • Highest cost per day
Book a day

Weekly hire

Quoted per week
Six days, Friday off
  • Good for projects and cover
  • Some continuity of driver
  • Better availability
  • Cheaper per day than daily
Book a week
Best value

Monthly contract

Fixed monthly invoice
Our lowest effective rate
  • Far cheaper per day
  • Dedicated vehicle
  • Same driver every day
  • Guaranteed availability
Ask about a contract

If you're running the same route every morning, a monthly contract isn't a slightly better deal — it's dramatically cheaper than booking day by day. Ask us to price both so you can see the gap.

Questions

About our pricing

Why don't you publish your rates?

Because any number we printed would be out of date within a month. Fuel moves, market rates move, and a rate that's honest for a Deira circuit is misleading for an Abu Dhabi run. We'd rather quote your actual job than publish a figure you can't rely on.

How fast can I get a quote?

Usually within the same call. Tell us the load, the temperature, the route and the hours, and we'll give you a number on the phone. Written confirmation follows by email.

Is the quote fixed?

Yes. Once we quote your job and you accept it, that's the rate — it doesn't move afterwards. Fuel and Salik are the only things billed on top, and those are at cost with receipts.

What's included in the rate?

The vehicle, its refrigeration unit, all maintenance, insurance, and an experienced cold-chain trained driver, for nine working hours a day, Saturday to Thursday. Pre-cooling and temperature monitoring are standard, not extras.

What's not included?

Fuel and Salik, billed at cost with every receipt kept and no markup. Hours beyond the standard nine, Friday running, and intercity trips are quoted separately and openly rather than hidden in the base rate.

Do longer contracts get better rates?

Substantially better. A monthly contract is far cheaper per day than booking day-by-day, and you get a dedicated vehicle with the same driver each morning. If you're running a regular route, ask for the contract rate — the difference is large.

What makes my quote higher or lower?

Vehicle size, temperature (deep freeze costs more than chilled), how many hours a day you need it, contract length, and whether the route is inside Dubai or intercity. Tell us those five things and we can quote accurately.

Will you tell me if I need a cheaper vehicle?

Yes, and we do it regularly. If you ask for a truck and describe a load that fits a van, we'll say so — even though the truck pays us more. A client we advised honestly stays for a decade.

Want a fixed quote?

Two minutes on the phone and you'll have a number you can budget against.
